The frame joints of each piece are either finger jointed or mortise and tenoned to provide superior strength and reliability. This feature combined with traditional support systems of corner blocking, stapling, and screws, provide the most durable frame in the upholstery business., each piece is hand tailored to insure covers and color-coordinated fabrics are expertly applied. All cushions are wrapped in muslin which helps the fabric wear much longer. Eight way hand tied springs is a premium in the upholstery industry and a standard for each piece crafted from Woodmark. This provides better seating comfort as well as longevity., the foam used in each seat cushion is a special polyurethane blend, produced solely for Woodmark, with a special cell structure to assure optimum resilience, softness, and support. The cushions are all rated at a 2.5 support factore, which is well above the industry average of 1.8."
