Like the original designs, this collection's adaptations are crafted of mahogany -- with brass, leather, and beautiful crotch mahogany forming classic accents. The breathtaking Carlton House mahogany finish is hand-padded and hand rubbed in the manner of generations past. This set features construction details unmatched in the furniture industry. All drawers feature English dovetail construction, corner blocks that are sanded to exact standards of each drawer, drawer stops, some have felt lined interiors, and all are completely finished inside and out. The quality of the drawers as well as the entire line is equaled only by custom furniture manufacturers such as Craftique or Baker. All cases feature dust proofed interiors, recessed screwed on backs, and a beautiful 18 step hand applied finishing process.
