This new collection from the world-renowned fashion designer, Jessica McClintock, features a more relaxed, yet sophisticated style and finish. This collection contains pieces for the bedroom, dining room and occasional areas that are designed from actual pieces in Jessica's San Francisco home. The furniture is crafted using lightly figured maple with intricately cut Mozambique inlays and ash burl veneers. The hand-applied finishes allow each item to make its own statement and at the same time, blend in with the surroundings, which creates the unique look and design of Jessica McClintock. The main finish is a lightly distressed, soft maple bisque finish. There is also an accent finish, Pistachio, offered on select pieces. It’s a stunning finish that blends a buttermilk white and sage green color in an emulsified brushed-on technique. The collection also contains pieces in antiqued mirror, adding to the gently aged and romantic character of the collection. The hand painting and ghost painted techniques on various pieces in the collection recreates the treatment on the walls, ceilings and furnishings of Jessica McClintock's home.
